This year's KMD family party took place in bright sunshine. Many employees accepted the invitation and brought their families and friends.

Event for the whole family

A look behind the scenes was the focus for all interested visitors. On a discovery tour through the company, all guests, young and old, got their own impression of the processes, projects and the creation of the impressive natural stone elements. Of course, it was also possible to experience the natural stone through haptic touch.

In addition to lots of interesting facts about KMD and the realisation of the unique projects, there was also a large amount of fun and action. A bouncy castle and a football goal were available for our youngest visitors to romp around. Creativity was carried out with the creation of stone and mosaic pictures. Many amazing individual pieces were created, which often focused on the family.

Our annual family festival is above all an appreciation of the employees by the company.

Open day for apprentices

The day before, we welcomed interested students and their parents to our annual open day for trainees to find out about the variety of jobs and careers as natural stone mechanics, tile and mosaic layers, draughtsmen, warehouse logistics specialists and wholesale and export traders. In addition to our benefits, every apprentice at KMD has a professional mentor and a training mentor throughout the entire education period. Our trainees and trainers talked about their experiences and revealed how practical our training is. From Young Professional to deployment in real projects, there was a lot to talk about!
