The reception area is one of the most important areas of a company as this is the first room that customers and partners enter. There is no second chance for a first impression. The culture and brand of a company is experienced immediately.
strong appearance from the start
A reception counter plays an essential role in creating an inviting visual impact and must also be a fully-fledged workstation.
The design desk we realised in an exclusive office building in Hamburg meets precisely these requirements. The inspiration for the design by JOI-Design was the oldest large stone "alter Schwede" in the Hanseatic city. With a length of 4.60 m, the counter welcomes its visitors in an imposing and at the same time modern appearance.
The Mediterranean touch desired for this entrance furniture is given by the Thunder Grey limestone with leather finish from Turkey. This stone is characterised by its partly wild structure and texture.
posh and detailed
If the counter appears strong and massive on the outside, the realisation is filigree and technically sophisticated. The visually monolithic impression was realised as a lightweight construction and in individual segments. The production of the curves required a high level of craftsmanship. Close cooperation with Møbelwerft GmbH was very important for perfect implementation. The cabinetmaker was responsible for the substructure and the installation. Before the final assembly took place on site, all elements were set up in our FAT / presentation hall to check the dimensional accuracy and assess the visual result.
combination of functionality and style
The bright modern atmosphere is also reflected in the catering area. The bar counter was designed and realised in the same way as the reception counter. With a length of 2.80 m x 2.40 m, it also appears imposing and Mediterranean at the same time. An inviting place for customers, partners and employees to get together.
