KMD is one of the leading manufacturers and contractors of natural stone in Germany. We specialise in manufacturing high quality stone products for upscale residential and commercial projects, focusing on national and international hotel projects and outfitting of luxury yachts.

On 7,000 sqm factory floor space we process up to 1,800 tons of stone each year for projects at home and abroad. Founded in 1999 we currently have 60 employees in our factory in Gotha (Thuringia).

KMD Projekt GmbH

is responsible for the production and supply of our stone products. By sourcing and purchasing worldwide we are able to offer a wide range of stone of all colors, thicknesses and surface finishes to our customers. We buy our stone in slabs or semi-finished products from countries such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, India and China. For this we have employees on site.

We use state-of-the-art machinery, such as CNC controlled waterjet cutting systems, machining centers, bridge saws and egde processing machines. This enables us to produce high quality, individual design for even the most discerning demands. This enables us to realise batch production of even very large quantities in a relatively short amount of time.

focuses on high-quality interior fit-out of residential and commercial projects , hotels and yachts. The company's range of services includes advising, sampling, detailed planning and measurement, delivery and installation, as well as site coordination - a turn-key package all from one source. Our inhouse design team of architects, engineers and draughtsmen takes care of the construction planning. Qualified project and construction managers coordinate the professional installation on site.

	Vanity tops, tub surrounds, shower trays We are specialists in natural stone for bathrooms, SPA and wellness areas. Find a great range of materials in our stone selection that will give your project an individual touch. We will be glad to advise you.
	Work tops, cover plates (kitchen, bar counters, furniture) Low-maintenance and durability should characterize any material used on surfaces that are exposed to everyday use. We produce custom work tops for kitchen, bar counters and furniture with these qualities.
	Tiles, wall and floor panels, coverings Because of its prestigious appearance natural stone emphasizes the value of residential and office areas. We offer high-quality natural stone and mosaic tiles, as well as fine large format floor panels. We also produce light-weight panels with thin stone.
	Solid stone work and custom-made solutions Solid washbasins, bathtubs, level shower trays made of natural stone, curved elements or columns, backlit wall, floor or ceiling panels - we put your creative ideas into practice!
	Water jet cutting Thanks to our state-of-the-art computer controlled water jet cutting machines we are able to cut even the most delicate marble inlays. On our 5-fold water jet cutting machine we finish very complex stone components with the highest precision.
