Marble, limestone, sandstone and onyx are unique materials, but only limited in their use throughout living and bathroom areas due to being relatively soft. Fats, oils and dyes as in cherry juice or coffee can cause stains. Nail polish remover or acid containing drinks like sodas or sparkling wine leave dull spots on polished stone surfaces.

The idea behind Two-Lux® is to achieve superior surface protection for natural stone by bonding glass on top of stone. This prevents liquids from penetrating the stone -  a Two-Lux® top looks always clean. In addition to the surface protection the glass enhances the stone's individual structure visually and gives it an elegant depth effect.
